This post is in honor of the Birthday Girl, Ksusha!  Ksusha stayed with my family for nearly a year as an exchange student from Russia.  in this year she became my sister.  Though I do not see her as often as I like, my sister she will always remain!  She recently came home for a visit, and we all felt extremely lucky to have the chance to see her again.  :)

Scraps of Life

Among other things, I like to create digital scrapbook pages.  I don't have as much time to devote to this as I would like but I do enjoy it immensely. The first one I am posting is of my Sophie kitty queen when she was just a tiny thing.  the second one, is a page of my siblings and I.  when we were young and my mom was trying to get us out the door for any reason. she would say "Ready? 1-2-3" and count us off to make sure she had everyone.  as we got older it just became a saying equal to "Ready? ok let's get going."

Easy A

Easy A gets an A ++ rating from me! I totally identify with the main character Olive Penderghast.  Olive is the intellectual type that everyone consistently overlooks...that is until one white lie snowballs. Finding that suddenly she is on the map, she decides to ride the ride. While trying to save others from humiliation she becomes the talk of the school and an outcast of sorts. Not only does this movie have lighthearted comedy and style, it also glorifies my all time favorite movies from the 80's AND it has a little musical number! Easy A was a slam dunk for me!
